What are the benefits of installing an unvented cylinder?
Unvented cylinders work at mains pressure and gives a higher flow rate to taps and showers. You do however need to have your water pressure and flow rate checked before considering having one fitted but there are ways around low pressure and poor flow rates... ask me how.
Which bathroom trends should be avoided?
Avoid colourful sanitary wares. Trends change all the time and white is the safest bet. You can always add colour by choosing the right tiles or painting a wall (but avoid wallpapering). Another trend to avoid would be carpeted or wood flooring as it's much less sanitary than tiles or vinyl. As for tiling, avoid mosaics, a lot of tiles means a lot of grout that needs to be cleaned and maintained and glossy floor tiles is just a slip hazard and downright dangerous.
