I had bought a Tado thermostat and installed it - it wasn’t working and I had been in a lot of contact with their support desk but was getting nowhere. I Googled to find an engineer and found Terry, phoned him up. He explained he had lots of bookings and couldn’t do an appointment for a little while but out of kindness he asked me what the issue was and in 5 minutes had solved the problem. I’m so thankful and would certainly recommend him highly.

What are the benefits of installing an unvented cylinder?
When considering a new hot water system an unvented cylinder should be top of the list. You get all the benefits of faster recharge times, better hot water flow rate/pressure, no stored cold water. (Cold water storage tanks can become a breeding ground for bacteria if not maintained properly.) The insulation is better quality on an unvented cylinder so you lose less heat out of the water while it's stored waiting to be used.
What is the best smart thermostat in 2020?
Among the great choices on offer in the smart thermostat world there are a few that stand out. Nest, Honeywell T6, Tado are all very good offerings and are my preferred to install. They have the best technology in the smart thermostat world to enable your boiler to attempt to heat your house more efficiently.
What is the best combi boiler?
My prefered manufacturer of boilers is Viessmann. They have the best range of boilers to suit any property and their 200 range have market leading controls and Modulation. Along with their in house built stainless steel heat exchangers these are the most reliable boilers around. So much so I have one in my own home.
