A boiler should be serviced every 12 months, if your boiler is still under warranty then some manufacturers will void the warranty if the service has not been completed by a gas safe registered engineer. Regular servicing and maintenance will ensure your appliance lasts longer and will ensure it’s is working safely and efficiently.

All boiler manufacturers require a service every 12 months. But again if a fault occurs before the 12 months or any time there is nothing wrong with servicing the boiler again. Always better to keep on top of it. Each service will require the engineer to fill out the manufacturers instructions book which should come with the boiler. If you do not have the book no problems as a lot of engineers will give you a certificate.

manufacturers recomend that a boiler is serviced every 12 months. There are instances when this timescale is reduced, this would be when the boiler is getting older and there is concern over condition and safety. Servicing is recommended to check that it is safe to use and pick up any potential concerns

Manufacturers recommend a yearly service as sufficient. However if any problems occur there's no harm in an additional service during repairs. Some major repairs will involve a service procedure of some sort anyway from checking combustion gases to cleaning the primary heat exchanger.

Most boiler warranties on newly installed boilers specify that the boiler should be serviced annually to validate the warranty. Boiler servicing can detect issues before they compromise the function of the boiler and if repaired could avoid a boiler breakdown, or being left without heating or hot water. We would recommend you service your boiler annually. In Wales boiler services are not required by law on rental properties, but gas safety inspections are.

An annual service is perfectly sufficient for your boiler. A service can pick up on potential safety issues and ensures your boiler continues to run efficiently. It takes approximately one hour and should always include a certificate. A service also ensures your warranty remains valid if it's a relatively new installation.

Currently it is not mandatory ( except if you have any form of tennant ) to have your boiler or other gas appliance annually serviced which I think should be the case

It is recommended to have a Gas boiler serviced once a year. This is to uphold any manufactures warranty if the boiler is new or within a warranty period. It also gives peace of mind to a customer that the boiler is running safely & efficiently, and possible signs of problems could be found and rectified before it breaks down.
