Underfloor heating works via a series of pipes, laid in zones, is heated via your boiler or other type of heating system which in turn, heats the floor up (usually a concrete slab) to make it act as a big radiator. This method is perfect for places with high or vaulted ceilings as it keeps the heat constantly rising from the floor. Each room would typically have its own thermostat to help give the user more control and run their system more efficiently

Underfloor Heating is heating water pumped via a manifold which splits areas into zones, controlled with a programmable thermostat, the boiler heats the water and pumped through the underfloor pipework. BoilerOne recommend you consult a verified plumber to advise on installation options.

Under floor heating is exactly as it says Instead of or in addition to radiators you have pipework running under the floor finish . This is normally in a screed but can be various other methods . The screeded type then heats the floor and the heat rises . Each area heated by underfloor has a stat and these areas are callled zones . This is all fed from a manifold You can also get electric under floor heating but mainly this is used for smaller areas like bathrooms , cloak rooms .

Underfloor heating can be either a system that pumps warm water through piping under the floor (a 'wet' system) or electric coils placed under the floor (a 'dry' system). Taking advantage of the basic principle that heat rises, warmth from under the floor is radiated into the room
