Stewart was someone we could trust and rely on. Although busy he was able to respond, to our relatively small problem, quickly. He worked in a very tidy methodical way and made sure the area was clean before he left. He is a good communicator and as well as being clear about prices and what needed doing, he also gave us some very good general practical tips that we will act on. We would always use him again without hesitation. He comes that extra mile . Much appreciated.

Leekey Plumbing came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Friendly advice and clear and accurate billing was coupled with a high quality and professional refurbishment. The house threw up a few unexpected issues which were dealt with quickly and without fuss. The standard of workmanship is great and despite the fact that we also had other trades on site at the same time was completed on time without fuss. All mess and tools were cleared away each day and any alterations or changes by us as work developed acted upon. Highly recommended and will definitely use again. Thankyou Stewart.

How much does a new bathroom cost?
This is the classic question. It’s almost like phoning a car dealer up and asking how much a new car will cost. A Popular brand of car will be considerably cheaper than a prestigious brand. Decide on your budget then look on the high street or online for the cost of the style and brand of bathroom suite you want. Then the plumber / installer will be able to give you an idea of what the cost will be.
How long does bath sealant take to dry?
One of the biggest problems we see with sealants around baths is the repeated reapplication of additional sea lent on top of old sealant. In order to get the best from the sealant the surface of the walls need to be dry, dust and grease free. All to often we see excessive amounts of sealants that have been applied to damp or wet walls. The sealant cannot adhere to the surface of the wall so you just end up with a new clean unsealed covering of sealant. So in answer to the question on a dry dust and grease free surface I would advise 24 hours for the sealant to cure. To soon and it will be like custard with a skin on the top. Appears dry and set but wet underneath
Can a wet room be installed upstairs?
Wet rooms can be put upstairs or virtually in any space where you could take a shower. Wet rooms are very convenient as there are not shower trays to cause trip hazards or the toe stubbing problem. Ensure you get a reputable installer as the wet room should be in the room it is installed and not pouring through the ceiling of the room below. If fitted correctly wetrooms give a trouble free showering experience.
