Dan explained the details of the job to us in detail. Took on our requirements and used his expertise to advise on the best approach. His quote was very competitive with others that we received and he understood exactly what we needed. The work he did was excellent, high quality work. He tidied himself out the house every day and kept us informed about when he would be arriving each day. Couldn't be happier with the work he's done. Powerflush vs chemical flush, what's the difference?
A chemical flush is the lowest standard boiler manufacturers except when install a new boiler, this is done by adding chemicals to the heating system and allowing them to circulate while the system is hot, then they are drain out of the system and flush with cold water. A power flush is same kind of thing, except you use a high pressured pump, which forces any dirt out of the radiators and pipework, which a normal pump wouldn’t do. Both are acceptable but like any other job, it depends on what the system needs and how dirty it is.
What is the best combi boiler?
This is a hard question, due to the fact, it’s not always what is the best combination boiler, it’s what suits the property and customers needs. I personally prefer Worcester Bosch boilers, they come with a very good back up team, I have little to no problems with them, and they do a boiler to suit most needs.
What are the benefits of installing an unvented cylinder?
The benefits of an unvented cylinder are to pressurize the hot side of the water in your house, perfect for power showers without having to have a pump, unvented cylinders rely on water pressure and liters per minute so aren’t suitable for every house hold. Also perfect to be able to have stored water, so if your boiler breaks down you have a back up for hot water.
