We were advised when our electrician would arrive, which he did. He was calm and didn't stop when he couldn't initially find the source of the problem initially because the trip problem appeared to have resolved when we tried to replicate it for him. He was communicative and reassuring and fixed the problem immediately and pragmatic with his recommendations.

Why does my electric boiler keep blowing its internal fuse?
The Heating element or circulation pump is more than likely faulty but could be the control circuit. either way it needs testing by a qualified installer. Are you replacing with the correct size fuse. More information is required to diagnose a fault like this as it could be various things that blow a fuse
Is it a legal requirement to have an electrical inspection carried out every 5 years?
Although it is a recommendation to have it done every 10 years on a domestic property, It is not compulsory at the moment, but there has been a push to make it a legal requirement for landlords to have this work carried out every 5 years recently, but this has been in the pipeline for a few years so may not happen for a while.
RCBO vs RCD, what's the difference?
An rcbo is used to protect a single circuit so if you have a problem with this circuit it will not affect any other circuit, generally an RCD will be used to control multiple circuits/mcb's (but not always) the problem with this is if there is a problem with one circuit it can mean the other circuits cannot be used, but it is a cheaper way to conform with regulations.
