We had a boiler leak and hot water not coming through properly. The causes were quickly identified and parts immediately ordered. The appointment was made promptly, but having now got the parts D A Gas called and offered to come a day early which I accepted. All work was done in an efficient and friendly manner. Will definitely go back to them.

What is the average cost for a gas safety certificate?
We charge £80 inc vat for a gas safety inspection, also know as a lgsr. The engineer would take around 45 minutes to an hour depending how many appliances you have in your property. We are based in Harlow, Essex and the prices may vary up and down the country from £50-£100 approximately.
How to bleed a radiator?
Turn off the boiler, heating and hot water. Grab yourself a radiator key and put it into the bleed point on the radiator and turn 1/2 turn anticlockwise, have a rag handy to catch any water. Once you have water appear from the bleed point close it using the key. Check the pressure on the boiler and restart the heating.
Why is my radiator cold?
As obvious as it sounds, make sure it is switched on, turn both valves anti-clockwise and switch the heating on. Next you could try bleeding the radiator, make sure you know how to refill the system if you have a sealed system such as a combi boiler. If neither of these resolve the issue we would recommend calling in a trusted local plumber.

I have worked along side Dave for many years and would have no problem in recommending him for any type of plumbing works he’s always there when he says he’s going to be and has even put right other problems that have occurred at no extra expense, I have used many other plumbers in the past but now just go to Dave for peace of mind and a perfect job every time
