We had a nightmare of a heating system. Odd boiler, single pipe system that had been branched all over the place in a large old victorian house. Because of the mess of pipes the heating was likely ineffective to start with but also, working from home, we didn't want to heat the whole house all day when we were in just one room. Damon recommended a Honeywell Evohome system - the ability to control the house in zones so that you can just heat the rooms that you use. He installed it quickly at a good price, but the old, dirty pipes meant he hit multiple problems. Where others might have walked away, Damon came back on multiple days, made sure we were never without heating, came up with great workarounds and implemented them quickly. He proactively got in touch with us over the next few weeks, checking in to see how it was going, coming back to balance the system and not resting until he was happy that he had got it working brilliantly. This was a difficult job, hitting unforeseen issues, but not once did he complain - and he didn't charge extra despite it clearly taking him much longer. Damon is a stand-up guy, doing great work - someone you can trust to do the very best for you. If only every tradesperson was like him. Cannot recommend him highly enough - and the Evohome system is living up to its potential.
